2.2 You understand the risks of using This Service, including but not limited to: 2.2.1 The high price volatility of virtual assets and their derivatives may result in significant or total losses in a short period; 2.2.2 Insufficient virtual assets deposited as margin may lead to immediate forced liquidation of your positions, potentially resulting in the loss of all virtual assets deposited into This Service; 2.2.3 Technical anomalies may occur, which could delay or prevent your use of This Service; 2.2.4 Market anomalies may occur, which could lead to losses of your virtual assets; 2.2.5 To maintain the overall health of the market, Astral may need to add, remove, or change policies from time to time. 2.3 You acknowledge: 2.3.1 You must not use This Service for any illegal purposes; 2.3.2 You will not initiate or facilitate any form of market manipulation.
3. Using This Service
3.1 This Service provides real-time market depth and other information. You may view or download this information for your own analysis.
3.2 You can place trading orders through the website, client application, API, or other methods. Once a delegated trade is executed, you cannot cancel or modify the order.
3.3 When you place an order to open a position and it is executed, you will establish a corresponding contract position. When you place an order to close a position and it is executed, the corresponding position quantity will be deducted from your holdings. This Service will provide real-time information about your positions and the value of your virtual assets and their derivatives.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1 To comply with changes in laws or regulations or to maintain the overall health of the market, Astral reserves the right to unilaterally modify policies or implement emergency rules from time to time. Such changes or implementations may result in temporary inaccessibility of This Service, deductions from your account, immediate closure of certain positions, or interruption of other services. Astral will not be liable for any losses resulting from the above.
4.2 Astral will not be liable for damages if the platform cannot operate normally, preventing you from using services or placing orders, due to the following conditions, including but not limited to: 4.2.1 During system downtime for maintenance as announced on the Astral platform; 4.2.2 Failures in telecommunications equipment preventing data transmission; 4.2.3 System disruptions caused by force majeure events such as typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, power outages, wars, terrorist attacks, etc., preventing business operations; 4.2.4 Service interruptions or delays due to hacker attacks, computer viruses, technical adjustments or failures by telecommunications providers, website upgrades, banking issues, or temporary closures due to government regulations affecting normal network operations; 4.2.5 Losses caused by technical issues that cannot be predicted or resolved with current industry technology; 4.2.6 Losses caused to you or other third parties due to the fault or delay of third parties.
4.3 Due to unexpected factors not attributable to Astral, such as system failures, network issues, DDoS or other hacker attacks, which may lead to abnormal transactions, market interruptions, or other irregularities, Astral reserves the right to cancel transactions or roll back transactions for a specific period based on the actual situation. Astral will not be liable for any losses resulting from the above.
4.4 You understand that technical issues may occur unexpectedly. Astral will not be responsible for any losses caused by technical issues, including but not limited to: 4.4.1 Failures, delays, interruptions, or other issues in connecting to This Service; 4.4.2 Service stoppages, slowdowns, unresponsiveness, or other issues due to system overload; 4.4.3 Failures caused by This Service’s inability to accurately obtain necessary data from third parties via the internet.
4.5 Astral strictly prohibits unfair trading practices. If you engage in the following behaviors, Astral reserves the right to take control of your account at its sole discretion: 4.5.1 Engaging in price manipulation, insider trading, market manipulation, market distortion, or any other malicious market behavior; 4.5.2 Harming other users or Astral by exploiting vulnerabilities in This Service or using other unreasonable means; 4.5.3 Participating in any other activities deemed by Astral to be harmful to the market.
To eliminate any adverse effects on the overall health of the market, Astral reserves the right to take actions, including but not limited to closing your account, restricting, suspending, or canceling transactions, rolling back transactions, and/or returning transaction-related digital assets to the complaining party. Under no circumstances will Astral be liable for any losses caused to you by taking the above measures.
