Fake AstralX Customer Service Remote Operation Computer Scam

  • The impersonation of exchange customer service to remotely operate your computer scam is a common type of online fraud that usually involves the following steps:
  1. The hacker poses as a customer service agent for AstralX and contacts you by phone, email or social media, claiming that there is a security issue with your account that needs to be checked and fixed.

The hackers ask you to install remote control software on your computer, such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk, and authorize them to operate your computer remotely.
