The details are as follows:
I. Effective Time of the Adjustment
Starting 30 September 2026 , different maintenance margin rates will apply to gold kilobar-related trading pairs based on the trading session.
II. Scope and Rules of the Adjustment
This adjustment applies to the following trading pairs:
GOLD/CNH, GOLD/JPY, GOLD/HKD, XAG/EUR
The maintenance margin rates for different trading sessions are as follows:
Trading session | Maintenance margin rate |
Regular trading session | 20% |
Before market closure | 50% |
Taking 100x leverage as an example:
During the regular trading session, the maintenance margin rate is 20%;
After entering the adjustment session before market closure, the maintenance margin rate will be adjusted to 50%;
After trading resumes normally, the maintenance margin rate will return to the standard for the regular trading session.
III. Related Impacts and Operational Guidance
After the maintenance margin rate is adjusted, the minimum margin required to maintain users' positions will increase accordingly. Please monitor your account margin and position risk in advance, reasonably control your positions based on your circumstances, and promptly add margin or adjust your positions to avoid the risk of forced liquidation due to insufficient margin.
