P2P Merchant Guidelines
In order to create a fair, secure, and stable trading environment, and to maintain the normal operation of the Astral P2P platform, P2P merchants are required to adhere to the following principles:
General Principles
-
Applicants for Astral P2P merchant status must lock 10,000 USDT and provide the corresponding documentation. After approval, they can proceed with their registration.
-
High-quality P2P merchants must ensure prompt payment, release of funds, and quick responses. They should not cancel orders arbitrarily, engage in malicious complaints, engage in malicious carding, or attempt to snatch low-priced orders. Service attitudes should be friendly, and they should respect platform users and staff, upholding principles of integrity and fair trading.
-
P2P merchants must actively comply with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing policies, ensure that their business operations are compliant, and cooperate with regulatory agencies for reviews and investigations as required.
Trading Principles
1: Payment and Receipt Standards
-
P2P merchants are required to use accounts for payments that match the real-name authentication on the platform when transferring funds to users.
-
P2P merchants may use accounts verified by the platform for receiving payments.
-
If users use non-real-name authenticated accounts for receiving payments when P2P merchants make payments, the order may be canceled.
-
If users use non-real-name authenticated accounts for payments when P2P merchants receive funds, they can request the other party to cancel the order. If the payment has already been received, they can refund it and request the other party to cancel the order.
2: Financial Security Standards
-
P2P merchants are not allowed to engage in any form of illegal fund transactions.
-
If users' bank cards or other financial accounts are frozen due to payments made by P2P merchants, they should cooperate actively with platform staff and provide reasonable evidence.
-
If a P2P merchant's account is frozen, they should contact customer service promptly, provide information about the frozen account, and provide reasonable evidence linking it to platform users.
-
If illegal digital assets or funds flow into the platform, causing losses to the platform and users or legal risks, the platform has the right to cancel the merchant's status and freeze the deposit indefinitely. In severe cases, if judicial authorities request assistance in freezing related accounts and assets, the platform will cooperate.
3: Operational Standards
-
After becoming a P2P merchant, carefully read the "P2P Merchant Tutorial".
-
P2P merchants are not allowed to leave their contact information in the remarks section or engage in direct transactions with users outside the platform. Otherwise, the platform will not assume any responsibility, and upon discovery, P2P merchants will have their qualifications to publish advertisements suspended.
-
If a P2P merchant has completed a payment but the user has not released the funds for more than 15 minutes, they can click on the appeal button and contact customer service for assistance.
-
P2P merchants are not allowed to initiate small transfers to users' bank cards or other financial accounts without the user's consent for testing purposes. After two violations, their P2P merchant status may be revoked.
Criteria for Cancelling P2P Merchant Status
-
If a P2P merchant receives more than two warnings within thirty days, their P2P merchant status will be revoked.
-
If a P2P merchant fails to assist with user complaints after receiving payment from a seller, and this occurs twice, their P2P merchant status will be revoked.
-
P2P merchants who do not cooperate with customer service in processing orders or intentionally delay may have their P2P merchant status revoked. If this leads to user asset losses, the platform has the right to deduct a corresponding amount from the deposit as compensation, and P2P merchants must replenish the deposit within three days. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of P2P merchant status.
-
In case of order disputes where P2P merchants do not cooperate, resulting in user losses, their P2P merchant status will be revoked, and the deposit will be frozen indefinitely based on the severity of the situation.
-
If the monthly trading volume falls below 1 million USDT, the P2P merchant status may be revoked. (This rule is currently not in use).
-
P2P merchants are not allowed to request additional fees from users privately or collect red packets or fees in any form. Otherwise, their P2P merchant status will be revoked.
-
P2P merchants are not allowed to disclose user information, such as names, contact information, addresses, etc. Violation of this rule will result in the cancellation of P2P merchant status.
-
If P2P merchants post advertisements or disseminate negative information affecting the platform within groups and it has a severe impact, their P2P merchant status will be revoked.
-
P2P merchants are not allowed to engage in unfriendly behavior, such as insulting or threatening platform users. Otherwise, their P2P merchant status will be revoked.
-
If P2P merchant activities are determined by judicial authorities to involve illegal activities, their P2P merchant status will be revoked, and in accordance with the requirements of judicial authorities, account assets may be frozen.
-
P2P merchants are not allowed to use affiliated payment and receipt accounts for transactions on other platforms or communities. If P2P merchants encounter issues on other platforms and have a strong connection to Astral platform ads, the platform may revoke their P2P merchant status directly. If there is a team, all team accounts will have their P2P merchant status revoked, and the deposit will be frozen indefinitely.
-
P2P merchants are not allowed to exploit platform rule loopholes for profit. Otherwise, their P2P merchant status will be revoked.
-
Renting or selling cards for trading is prohibited. If the platform determines that P2P merchants are involved in money laundering, their P2P merchant status will be revoked. If there is concrete evidence of P2P merchants directly participating in money laundering, the platform will actively report it to relevant judicial authorities.
-
If P2P merchants maliciously manipulate prices using programmatic orders or post unusually low prices for receiving coins, their P2P merchant status will be revoked.
-
If risk control detects offline trading activities by P2P merchants without reasonable proof, their P2P merchant status will be revoked. If there is a team, all team accounts will have their P2P merchant status revoked, and the deposit will be frozen for more than three months.
-
P2P merchants are not allowed to use reasons such as "verification flow" or "add friend transfer" to add platform user contact information and attempt to guide users to trade on other platforms. Any behavior leading users to other platforms will result in the cancellation of P2P merchant status. If there is a team, all team accounts will have their P2P merchant status revoked, and the deposit will be frozen for more than three months.
-
If a P2P merchant triggers platform risk control and provides materials that are determined to be false proof materials (including but not limited to forged or tampered payment receipts, chat and transaction records, judicial freezing documents, and case materials), their P2P merchant status will be revoked. If there is a team, all team accounts will have their P2P merchant status revoked, and the deposit will be frozen for more than three months.
Cancellation of Certified P2P Merchant Identity
If a P2P merchant needs to cancel their certified P2P merchant status for their own reasons, they must submit an application to the platform to cancel their P2P merchant status. Upon receiving the cancellation application, the platform will prioritize the closure of the P2P merchant's advertisement publishing privileges. If it is verified that the P2P merchant is not involved in any unresolved disputes or has no adverse records, the platform will unfreeze the deposit within 7 to 15 working days, completing the cancellation of the P2P merchant certification. Within 90 days from the date of canceling the P2P merchant certification, reapplying for P2P merchant certification is not allowed.
