Major international gold and silver markets will be closed, including the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) and the New York Commodity Exchange (COMEX), with no trading taking place.
On New Year’s Day, AstralX standard contract commodities products—XAU Gold and XAG Silver—will be closed for one day.
The estimated market closure period is from 05:45 on Thursday, January 1, 2026, to 06:59 on Friday, January 2, 2026.
January 2, 2026 (Friday):
Normal trading will resume.
The specific reopening time is 07:00 on Friday, January 2, 2026, when the market will open for normal trading.

II. Forex Market
December 31, 2025 (Wednesday):
Forex market trading hours will be shortened, and some currency pairs may close earlier on December 31, 2025.
January 1, 2026 (Thursday):
The global forex market will be closed.
On New Year’s Day, AstralX standard contract forex products—AUD/USD, EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and NZD/USD—will be closed for one day.
The estimated market closure period is from 05:45 on Thursday, January 1, 2026, to 06:59 on Friday, January 2, 2026.
January 2, 2026 (Friday):
The forex market will resume normal trading.
The specific reopening time is 07:00 on Friday, January 2, 2026, though some instruments may open later.
